The Art Challenges are something I made up on my own to improve my art skills in a fun, unorthodox way. The criteria are as follows:
Niche Topic

Subject is randomly given

5 minutes at the beginning to find references 

You have 1 hour to draw the topic and subject you're given

Pens down at the 1 hour mark, no matter what

See how far you can get!!

For this Art Challenge, I had to mash together two random characters and draw them in the allotted time. On the right is a double fusion, as it's Jak & Daxter mixed with Lilo  & Stitch. I personally think it came out very well and mixed the two together greatly. 

To the left is a combination of Jak form Jak & Daxter and the Demogorgon from Stranger Things. This one took me quite long, especially to get the texture on the skin and background portal right.

This Challenge was my personal favorite, as the premise was having each person in the participating group choose the subject for each other. The only catch was that the Mythological creature had to be lesser known, so nothing like Medusa or Harpies that are commonly known. My subject was Pan Vel Satyrrvs Marinvs, or in simpler terms a Sea Goat monster. This piece allowed me to experiment with shading, lighting, blurs, filters, and new colors. Overall a very fun project.
