The pin system is something I devised and managed all on my own for my volunteer team at my job as a Program/Marketing assistant at George Mason University. These pins were given to volunteers who excelled in certain areas, or special events we held for the team, as incentive and morale. While this isn't necessarily related to Game Design, this section is to show my skills in designing icons that are recognizable, efficient, and pleasant, seeing as I designed all of them myself.
These pins were the basic categories that volunteers could excel at, or show prowess in. Additional incentive was a special prize given to whoever had the most of these pins by the end of the semester, and a bonus prize for anyone who collected all of the pins in the set.
These pins were for special events held for the team, whether it was scavenger hunts, bonding nights, or some casual fun thing. These pins counted towards the total count someone had, and were put in place to encourage members to have some fun and not make everything about work.
These pins were forend of the semester superlatives. As a last hoorah of fun, I had volunteers vote who amongst themselves deserved each of the titles. Of course, these pins didn't count towards their final counts, these were just all in good fun.
