"Keep Moving Forward"
"Keep Moving Forward"
I am a college graduate with a Computer Game Design degree with a wide array of experience in the fields of game design, event services, and event management for 3+ years.
I've been described as having excellent time management and organizational skills, in addition to having a very outgoing genuine presence that gives the workspace a healthy environment.
I strive to go into Game Development with a passion that will further my career; to find an employer that allows to me to grow and flourish, along with building my skill and experience.
I want to develop games and craft stories that I can be proud of, ones that will make an impact on the people for years to come.
My goal is to make a life that is mine, one that is full of prosperity, compassion, and fairness; to use the imagination of
my youth to make art in the reality of today. To make my lifelong dream a reality.
Why put all your eggs in one basket?
Exactly, you don't. Hence why I like to not be restricted to one skillset. I enjoy being able to accomplish different kinds of tasks; from VFX, to UI, to Concepting and more!
A swiss army knife that tells jokes
Being a generalist, I like to see myself as adaptable, and the various bits of knowledge I have helps the team environment. I believe having such different perspectives allows me to help multiple teams in times of trouble. Code error? Trouble concepting? Need button designs? Color palettes? I can bring it all. I think it's important to have general knowledge on things out of your comfort zone, it helps you understand what other teams need, and how you can make their jobs easier.
Duct tape, works on anything
I'm a moldable generalist searching for where to plant my roots and begin my career in the game design industry for real. I've had the pleasure of working on a few projects, but nothing that's currently shipped or released. I want to work on a fully released project to finally see my full potential. I don't need a big studio to recognize me, just somewhere that has a good story to tell and the need to make it a reality. I plan to work on my own projects throughout and learn along the way, and hopefully bring my own dreams to fruition as well.
I've wanted to design games all my life, but I actually started my journey as a computer science major. However, I realized it wasn't for me, and changed officially to game design two years later. Now that I'm doing what I love, I can't wait to get started. I've had to fill multiple shoes throughout the years, and it's given me insight into different aspects of the process that I feel help me have a greater hold on game design overall. I've recently fallen into the roll of UI and VFX Designer, but who knows where I'll go.
I've had experienced in multiple teams, and made wonderful friends. I'm still building my network and meeting new people everyday. Every new perspective is new information and new understanding.
